Ending an Old Year with a New Beginning

Welcome to my Whole Brain Teaching Certification blog. I am honored you have stopped in and hope each time you visit you will find your time is well spent.

I am a WBT Rookie. I discovered WBT in August while searching the Web looking for brain compatible teaching methods. The WholeBrainTeaching.com site had everything I was looking for -- and more. It was a challenge to read, digest, and implement the program in two weeks. Fortunately, the webcasts on The First Hour and the free notes that were distributed through Teachers Pay Teachers gave me a solid direction.

For the past four months I have been using WBT methods in my 5th grade Science classes, and I have been working on my certification "under the radar". I have watched webcasts, taken notes, outlined essays, but I have not submitted anything. I wanted to write from experience, not from a theoretical point of view.

I am far from an expert. I have not incorporated all of the basics yet, but I am ready to move on in my certification journey. I hope you will come along.
